5 trends in home decor that we must give up in 2016

Some trends look great in pictures, but are totally impractical, although others looked good, their season faded a bit and need to replace them with a new spirit. If you want your home to have a fresh look, here’s what you have to give up in 2016:

1. The mattress on the floor

Although it seems a good idea, especially if you’re a bohemian nature and you have enough space, it is not at all practical, and in reality it looks much worse than in pictures. Not to mention dust.

2. Chevron prints

The familiar zigzag pattern was in great demand in 2015, but decor experts say that it has passed its peak. Likewise disappear the message prints, like pillows ‘he and she’, ‘hello’ or other such prints. Streaks still remain fashionable.

3. Exaggerated matching

To match is appropriate, to coordinate complementary colors is appropriate, but do not overdo it. According to the Huffington Post, this is what 2015 has brought.

4. Wall covered in pictures

A fairly obvious trend on specialist blogs in 2015 that should be refined in 2016. For example, vintage, black and white photos should receive a suitable frame before being boarded on the wall.

5. Keep calm

A fun trend that has caught very well since 2014, prints and paintings with “Keep calm and …” should be left behind, finally. They were effective for a while, but now are too frequently used to try to include them in home decor. At most, keep the cup of coffee with the well-known message. At the office.
