There is not much time until Easter, so you can start to make some ornaments to decorate your home and Holiday table. Here are some of the simplest decorations that you can quickly make:
EGGS WITH CHICKS
You can buy a lot of ornaments of all kinds and for all tastes, but the ones made with your hands, have a different charm. Buy a set of plush chicks. You also need some small balloon, a ball of colored cotton and some glue. Before you inflate the balloon, put a chick in it, then inflate it to the size that you desire and dress it in cotton thread. Pass it through glue, let it dry, and when cotton is stiff, break with a pin the balloon and take it off through the thread. You will get a colored egg with a chick inside.
EGG-SHAPED GLOBES
Using an egg-shaped template, outlines several forms on colored paperboard. Cut them, and then with some wavy scissors cut out also some paper ribbons. Garnish with them the eggs and hang them on the Palm Sunday twigs that you’ve placed in a vase.
CANDLES WITH FLOWERS
Candles are among the main Easter decorations. You don’t need very sophisticated pieces. You only need small white candles, but thicker, some transparent glasses and saucers. With a rubber bend simply fix on the glass a daisy with a pretty long stalk. Put a candle in the glass, then lay it on the saucer in which you put a little water so the flower to be able to hydrate, to not wilt.
NESTS MADE OF TWIGS
The trees did not leaf out yet, so you have to make do with what you have. Use dry twigs to make a bird’s nest. There’s no need to complicate. If birds can weave the twigs, you can do it too. Then put dry grass in it and beautifully sit the painted eggs. It’s the most beautiful natural basket with which you can decorate the Easter table.
VASES WITH FLOWERS AND VEGETABLES
You think that the flowers do not have to stand together with vegetables? They sit in the garden, why not stay also in the house. And the picture above shows you that. Use transparent vases and combine spring flowers with carrots, lettuce and spring onions in an unusual arrangement.
