Abraj Kuda will be the largest hotel in the world! It is built in the city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. According to dailymail.co.uk, the hotel will open its doors in 2017.
The hotel will have no less than 10,000 rooms and 12 towers, each with 44 floors. It is built by Dar Al Handasah designer group and will have a total area of 4.6 million square meters. The hotel will have 70 restaurants, multiple heliports and the largest roof in the world.
Two of the towers will have 5-star luxury rooms while the remaining towers will have with 4-star rooms.
“With a total area of approximately 60,000 m² and a construction of about 1.4 million m², the project is a residential center and commercial complex, the hotel will have 12 towers, a bus station, a shopping mall, multiple restaurants, a hall for conventions and a parking”, says Dar Al Handasah.
The interior, which is said it will be opulent, will be arranged by London-based Areen Hospitality design firm.
But until Abraj Kuda opens its doors, the largest hotels in the world remain Venetian hotel and Palazzo hotel in Las Vegas.
