It certainly happened to you to have a little free time and to think about what you could do. Here are some ideas. With little skill you can transform some colored paper into decorative lampshades for your room or your office.
Lampshade made of muffin paper
Firstly, you need a paper balloon. You can use one from a lantern. You need 300 muffin papers of three different colors and liquid glue.
Apply adhesive to the back of the muffin paper and put it on the paper balloon. Do the same with the remaining muffin forms trying to create a coherent model, so the lampshade to come out as nice.
When you have finished, dress a lamp with this lampshade. The light that will spread through it will create a lot of colors around.
Lampshade made of perforated cardboard
More simply you can make a lampshade for a desk lamp with a paper cardboard. Therefore, you need cardboard paper of different colors, a pencil and a thumbtack.
Firstly, draw in the center of the sheet a stylized flower shape, then with the thumbtack pierce the paper.
When you’re done, roll every piece of paper, joining the sides with glue.
Place a candle in a thermo resistant glass and cover it with this lampshade.
Lampshade with colored scales
For this merry project you need a paper balloon which you can find in any bookstore, colored crepe paper and glue. Firstly, outline with a round form disks of the same size on the crepe paper, then cut them out. If you find in the bookstore already cut paper disks you will simplify your work.
Glue the paper disks on the globe as shown above.
Put them in the form of scales, and when you managed to cover the whole paper balloon, set it on a lamp.
You can do the same thing, but you can mix the patches of paper so that you get a rainbow lampshade.
Lampshade with glitter
You can realise a perfect globe for parties extremely simple, with a paper balloon, a glue spray and a box of glitter. All you have to do is to spray glue, then to evenly spread the glitter.
