Fairytale house – the perfect getaway

As we’ve said so many times before, your house says a lot about you. The way you decorate your place, the colors you use, the lack or abundance of décor items let people know so much about your preferences and personality. A house does speak a thousand words.

The internet displays a large selection of flabbergasting houses. Places that leave us speechless. Just like the ones we’ve gathered here today. Fairytale houses. What do they say about their owners? We’ll let you find out by yourself.

Whether it’s inspired by the hobbit or favorite childhood tales, these houses do leave some marks. What is it about them that makes them so fascinating? Perhaps the fact that they recall a realm where there is no worry, heaviness of any sort or bad things.

However, living in such a house is definitely quite an experience and getting a house like that build might be very much of challenge. But thanks to skilled and inspired architects, we can see such places build from scratch.

The shabby exterior, the small yet cozy rooms, the round doors, the flowers, plants or grass dressing up the house, the curvy shapes have a charm of their own. Some fairy tale house owners went that far as to build their home in trees or even underground. And that only adds to the charm and otherness of these places.

The surroundings are of prime importance too when it comes to creating such fantastic houses. There better be some wood around the fairytale house and trees and greenery. Small, humble yet splendid, these houses remind us of the Brother Grimm’s tales and other such fairy stories. And who wouldn’t like to live in a house that resembles the universe such writers created?
