An exceptional raw vegan dessert, these truffles are delicious with a cup of hot tea. Are incredibly simple to prepare and are suitable also for festive meals. You can replace almonds with walnuts, pistachios or hazelnuts.
INGREDIENTS
– 3.5 oz dates
– 1.8 oz almonds
– 1 tablespoon cocoa
– 1 teaspoon rum essence
– 1 hand of figs
DIRECTIONS
Rehydrate the dates and figs for 30 minutes. If the dates have pits, take them out. Rip the stalks from the figs. Put the dates, figs, almonds and cocoa in a blender, add some rum essence and blend everything. Form balls of the mixture and roll them in coconut or ground pistachio. Put them in the fridge to harden slightly.
