Balls with coconut and lime are ideal both for children and for adults. They are full of vitamins, healthy and low-calorie. They are easy to prepare and require no cooking.
INGREDIENTS
– 2 cups coconut flakes
– 1 cup almond flour
– 3 tablespoons coconut oil, at room temperature
– 1/4 cup honey
– 3 lime zest
– juice from 2 limes
– dried fruit, to taste
DIRECTIONS
Tip: you can make almond flour at home, from raw almonds. All you have to do is to add them in the food processor and mix well until you get a powder.
In a capacious bowl add the coconut flakes, almond flour and lemon zest.
Separately, in another bowl mix coconut oil with honey, then gradually incorporate the lime juice.
Pour the mixture over the coconut flakes mixture. Mix everything well until you get a homogeneous composition.
Then incorporate dried fruits after your preferences. They should be finely chopped.
Leave everything in the fridge for an hour and then form balls. You can roll them through coconut flakes. Put the obtained balls on a tray covered with baking paper and let them in the fridge overnight.
Serve the balls with coconut and lime with a glass of natural fruit juice.
