Whitepod Luxury Resort is a different kind of resort. I say this because I have never seen such a place, especially in an area so difficult like the Swiss Alps. As you can see in the set of photos below, Whitepod Luxury Resort consists of 15 luxurious domes, of which 10 are for two people, and 5 for families or larger groups. Since they are always covered with snow, I think these domes would be better called igloos.
And no, there is no need to worry about the heat. Heating surface is small, and each fireplace has the ability to warm up the room in a half an hour. Although they seem to be cabins, they are true luxurious rooms, insulated (so that heat is not lost), with king size beds, with iPods loaded with music pre-ordered by tourists. In addition, when there is snow, but it’s sunny, tourists can always sit on the terrace.
What’s really fascinating about this resort is that it has its own ski-slope and ski lift system, so that tourists don’t get too tired. They came on holiday, not to climb mountains. The customers of this resort have no less than seven kilometers of ski slopes available just for them, with accessible slopes, dedicated primarily to those with average to lower knowledge of the skiing art.
