Who doesn’t love this delicious and easy dessert? Although it seems banal, this dessert can easily be reinterpreted, to impress even the most choosy guests.
INGREDIENTS
– 8.8 oz mascarpone
– 7 oz fresh cheese
– 6.7 fl oz whipped cream
– 4 eggs
– 4.4 oz powdered sugar
– 2 tablespoons apricot or cherries liqueur
– 14 oz ladyfingers
– 8 teaspoons coffee
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– 2 tablespoons cocoa
– 1 fl oz cognac
– 1.7 oz grated chocolate
DIRECTIONS
Prepare a strong coffee of 8 coffee spoons and 300 ml water. Sweeten the coffee with sugar and let it cool very well. You can flavor it with a little rum or vanilla essence.
Meanwhile beat the egg whites until stiff, add the sugar and put everything to bain marie. Continue to mix until you get a homogenous, thick foam. Then incorporate into the egg white foam the mascarpone cheese, egg yolks and liqueur. Leave it to cool then mix well the whipped cream.
Strain into a bowl the coffee and add the cognac over it. Dunk the ladyfingers for two seconds in this liquid. Place in the glasses a layer of ladyfingers, one of cream, one of ladyfingers and another one of cream.
Finally you can decorate with fruits or cocoa powder. Put the tiramisu in the refrigerator for 3 hours before you serve it.
