The cheap ornaments that you find now in stores can get a very interesting allure with little effort and imagination. You can give them a retro air, which remind you and your loved ones of the childhood holidays. Here are some interesting examples.
Customize
The ornaments for holidays often seem made in series, so that you end up feeling that your Christmas tree is identical to others. But you can get rid of this care customizing the decorative pieces. For example, increase the charm of simple globes, writing on them the names of the family members, motivational messages or personalized greetings.
Thus, you need simple globes, a paint marker, glue, a thin brush and glitter. First draw the image with the paint marker or handwrite your message. Let the paint dry, then with the thin brush apply transparent adhesive over the paint and spread glitter over it. In 20 minutes you totally changed the aspect of the common baubles.
Embellish
You can give the impression that you left the tree ornaments out in the cold, and on them was placed a thin layer of bright ice. You need baubles of different colors and sizes, transparent glue, brushes, glitter and a hair fixative.
Remove cap of the bauble, then cover it completely with liquid adhesive and quickly spray a coat of silver glitter. When the glue has dried well, shake the ornament to remove excess of glitter and put the cap back on. You need only 5 minutes to transform such an ornament.
Redecorate
You can give a vintage charm to the decorations if you apply stripes in bright colors. Firstly, you need silver or golden baubles, as were most of the ornaments 20-30 years ago. Then you need colored adhesive tape and a marker with white paint.
Apply adhesive tape circular, then outline parallel thin lines with a paint marker. Let it dry and you will have retro baubles.
