THE OLDEST CITIES IN EUROPE

Dreaming to spend your vacation in one of the most beautiful places full of historical symbols? Here are the most beautiful ancient cities in Europe that you can visit in spring and summer:

YEREVAN, CAPITAL OF ARMENIA

Built with three decades before the founding of Rome, this city began to be inhabited since 782 BC, according to archaeological evidence. Invaded in turn by Assyrians, Romans, Turks of Byzantine Empire, Persians, Arabs, Mongols and more recently Russians, the city is trying to develop through cultural institutions increasingly numerous, like the National Art Gallery of Armenia, Military Museum “Mother Armenia” or History Museum of Armenia. The ticket prices to this destination start from 300 euros and accommodation costs can vary between 30 and 100 euros, according to the standards that you desire.

ZADAR, THE WONDERFUL CITY IN THE BALKAN PENINSULA (CROATIA)

The origins of this town seem to date back to the ninth century BC, and the influence of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries of Venetians, French and Turkish is visible in regard to the generous architecture that this great place has. Built after Italian cities patterns, the city houses many glorious places of worship, such as churches of St. Donatus and the Virgin Mary. You can get here by plane; the price starts with 15 euros and you will find accommodation starting from 35 euros per night for one person.

CADIZ, THE PASTEL COLORS CITY OF SPAIN

The oldest residents who have stayed in this wonderful town in Spain seem to have lived here in 1100 BC. It is the famous place where Christopher Columbus started his second, respectively his fourth journey to America. This spectacular place is different from other ancient cities through its pastel colors, materialized in architecture done in shades of pink, green and blue. Transport costs start at 150 euros for early booking and the accommodation varies between 40 and 160 euros per person.
