INGREDIENTS
– 17 oz fresh shrimp, without shell
– 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
– 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
– 2 pieces of green garlic
– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
– 2 tablespoons lemon juice
– 2 fl oz tequila
– 3 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped
– salt
– pepper
DIRECTIONS
Season the shrimp with cumin, salt and pepper to taste.
Add the oil in a pan and after it is hot add the shrimp. Cook them for two minutes, turning them constantly from side to side. Add the chopped garlic, red pepper flakes and cook everything until shrimp are opaque.
Add tequila over the shrimp and continue to mix until the alcohol evaporates.
Turn off the cooker and add the lemon juice and coriander. Mix well and put them on a plate.
Serve the shrimp warm with a side dish of rice cooked with butter.
