You want to surprise your partner? Try to prepare a special recipe for a dinner for two. It looks like a sophisticated cuisine, but it is very easy and effortless to prepare!
INGREDIENTS
– 20 pieces of scallop (shucked)
– 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
– 1 tablespoon chopped garden chervil
– 1 tablespoon chopped shallot
– 1 tablespoon chopped tarragon
– 2 tablespoons fennel seeds
– 1-2 cloves of garlic, minced well
– 4-5 tablespoons olive oil
– salt
– pepper
DIRECTIONS
In a non-stick pan, add the fennel seeds and simmer them until they start to smell. Then gently crush them in a mortar.
In a bowl add the olive oil, parsley, chervil, tarragon and shallot. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Wash the scallops well and season them with salt. Put them in a roomy bowl and pour two tablespoons of composition over scallops and mix well, so that the mixture to divide evenly on them.
Put four to five scallops on skewers sticks and cook them on the grill.
Meanwhile, in the remaining oil add garlic and fennel seeds.
Remove scallops on a platter and pour the sauce over them. If you want to have a spicy dish, add some chili pepper flakes.
Serve the scallop skewers with a simple rice garnish and a glass of white wine.
