This appetizer is prepared quickly and will be savored by all family members. Potatoes wrapped in bacon are best consumed while you watch a movie or if you organize an open bar. Here’s how you can prepare them.
INGREDIENTS
– 28 oz new potatoes, cut in half (or quarters if are too big)
– 15 slices of bacon, cut in halves
– 3/4 cup mayonnaise
– 1/4 cup yogurt
– 2 tablespoons finely chopped dill
– 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
– salt
– pepper
DIRECTIONS
Cook the potatoes in steamer for 15 minutes, then let them cool.
Preheat oven to 350 ° F and line the tray with baking paper.
Wrap each potato in a piece of bacon, and lay them in the pan. Season with salt to taste. Bake them until they become crispy (18-20 minutes).
Meanwhile, in a roomy bowl mix the mayonnaise, yogurt, mustard and cumin. Mix well, then add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the potatoes hot, with dill mayonnaise sauce.
