Are you bored of the classic mashed potatoes? Turn it into pudding! Here’s a simple and delicious recipe that you’ll want to prepare more often.
INGREDIENTS
– 35 oz potatoes
– 2 red bell peppers
– 8.8 oz feta cheese (or other salty cheese)
– 7 oz bacon
– 5 fl oz milk
– 1.7 oz butter
– 1.7 oz grated hard cheese or parmesan
– salt
– pepper
DIRECTIONS
Boil the diced potatoes in salted water. Strain the potatoes and keep the water in which they boiled. Prepare the mashed potatoes normally, adding butter and milk.
Finely chop the peppers and bacon and grate the cheese or mash it using a fork. Mix everything with the puree, and add a little water in which you boiled the potatoes. The composition should not be hard. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the mixture into a tray lined with baking paper and sprinkle the hard cheese or parmesan above. Bake it for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is golden.
Serve the mashed potatoes pudding with cheese and bacon hot with a season salad.
