IGLOO FOR GARDEN – MULTIFUNCTIONAL OUTDOOR SPACE

It’s no surprise that each of us dream to move away in the fortress of nature at the end of a hectic day, where we are protected from the tiring dynamic of contemporary life. Exactly on this natural human reaction bet also the Turkish designer Cagla Isin Alemdar when he invented an igloo for garden, a domed structure where you can relax outdoor regardless of the weather outside.

She worked on the design of this structure for two years, bringing it to a stage that fits perfectly in the garden. Its sculptural form is a visual addition perfect for the green space, energizing even more the natural surroundings. More important than that, this igloo is suitable both for sunny weather and for the rainy one and it can even be turned into an ideal place for a romantic dinner in the middle of the garden. It is a mobile structure that can be easily moved to any place in the garden.

The interior is quite spacious so that you can turn into a mini-greenhouse. It is also a good place for relaxation, reading a book or other leisure activities, while children may find the playground perfect for any weather. It may as well host a bed, especially as its geodesic structure can be covered with three different materials that correspond to any type of weather, including a mosquito net for those beautiful summer evenings.

Ultimately, this igloo can become a room added to the house, one outdoors, that’s right, for those situations when relatives come to visit in the summer. In the pictures above, it houses a transparent romantic space with an atmosphere enhanced also by the artificial light. If you want such a multifunctional space in your garden, then get ready to pull out of pocket 1000 dollars for this transparent structure. For the other two materials that can cover it, you will pay separately.
