Ideas for daring desks

Today we talk about desks, but not just any desks, but about some bold desks, which are leaving the usual pattern. Objectively speaking, there are studies linking the structure of the desk with the productivity. In other words, if the work space is less monotonous / boring and more comfortable, the workplace productivity will increase. So I chose for you a series of bold patterns, as shown in the pictures below.

48 Inch Tablet Desk

What would you say about a desk in which you have a footrest or in which you can put your feet in the… sand? What about one to which is attached a treadmill, a desk specially designed for those who want to keep fit during the service? Personally, I like more compartmentalized desks, which are hiding places for gadgets, for books and notebooks, regardless of the style in which they are constructed. Another superb idea is the one in the picture no.15, where the front of the desk can anytime be transformed into a bed for … a nap during lunch break. However, it was shown that a nap of 25-30 minutes can drastically improve productivity and energy level, so in essence, it’s not a bad idea.

For those who like simple things, the idea of a glass office is perhaps the best. Not everyone adopt minimalist style, but we must recognize that this idea is brilliant, especially if its users do not need too many books, folders, just a desk where they can work without being distracted by books, documents and which also, looks good.

However, the desks above are more for home, not for work, because not many companies could afford such a luxury for its employees. What do you think? Are you tempted by a particular model?
