HOW TO USE NEUTRAL COLORS IN HOME DECOR

Neutral colors give balane to a room, allowing you to use other color tones in the decor of the room without the fear of a too strong contrast. Here are some ideas for decorating the rooms of the house while using warm or cool colors accompanied by neutral shades.

1. LIVING WITH INTIMATE AMBIANCE

For a living room which has a relaxing atmosphere you can use furniture in warm colors, on a silver background provided by the paint of the walls, drapes and carpet. A color balance is made by applying a ceiling fan in the living room, acting as a focal point placed in perfect harmony with the silver-gray coffee table in the center of the room.

2. CLASSIC ELEGANCE

Play with the classic style of decorating a room using black and white theme in the accessories on the furniture from your perfectly illuminated living room. The contrast between the two colors give the impression of a cool elegance in a room full of sunlight.

3. THE LIVING ROOM, A FAMILY RETREAT

Even located in the same space with kitchen, the living room has exactly the air of intimacy requested by the home of a united family. The strong shade of the mahogany kitchen furniture and floor is offset by the white color of the walls and table which imitate marble with a pleasant visual impact.

4. MODERN BATHROOM

Add a modern, slightly futuristic air to your bathroom, without getting things out of control. The metallic gray color of the bathroom walls is “tamed” by the pieces of furniture in warm colors of natural wood placed in the bathroom. Black and white only play the role of focal point for the room aesthetics.

5. HALL IN BRIGHT SHADES

Add brightness in a dimly lit hallway using white furniture. In this case, the brightness of the entrance area is accented by the tall furniture and the front door windows. A large mirror will enhance the effect.
