Ordinary ladders used in gardening or renovation, can give life to the rooms of the house if you know where and how to sit them. Here’s how a ladder, improved or left with its rustic appearance, can integrate perfectly into the background.
ladder NEAR THE FIREPLACE
Place a wooden ladder near the fireplace in the living room and use it as a support for the warm blankets that cover you in winter. Its rustic appearance and the image of the warm blankets will create a fairytale atmosphere throughout the cold season.
SHELF LADDER
You can see a ladder with two legs rather in a tool shed than in the house, but even so, once painted and with wooden panels added over its steps, the ladder can be transformed into an original shelf. You can quickly find it a place in the living room or kitchen.
HANGER LADDER
Add to the kitchen ceiling a suspended ladder on which you can hang various useful tools. You’ll need hooks, four or six solid chains and, of course, a wooden ladder. As the older the better, if you want to give a picture of rustic kitchen to this room.
BATHROOM LADDER
If your bathroom is spacious, you can smoothly add a ladder as a support for the bathrobe or towels. It is preferable to use a wooden ladder, well varnished with a less crudely aspect, such as those used for maintenance of fruit trees.
DECORATIVE LADDER
Choose a simple ladder to play a decorative role in your office or in the living room. Put your favorite magazines on its steps, using it both as a support and as an unique decoration in the room.
LADDER FOR A RUSTIC BEDROOM
Build yourself a ladder with wide steps to put it in a bedroom with rustic air. Supported by a wall, the ladder can play the role of a useful rack, while the rest of the decor may consist of handicrafts from rural areas.
LADDER FOR SHOES
Replace the shoes support in the lobby with a simple small ladder leaned against the wall. It will be an excellent support for the collection of heels.
