How to make the best gingerbread quickly

It’s like there are no Holidays without gingerbread on the festive table, so we offer you a quick and delicious recipe that you can prepare together with your children.

gingerbread

Ingredients:

– 5 eggs
– 750 g flour
– 600 g sugar
– 5 tbsp honey
– 2 tbsp baking powder
– 2 tsp cinnamon powder
– 1 tsp ground ginger
– 3 tsp lemon juice
– parchment paper

Directions:

Whisk three whole eggs with two yolks and with 400 grams of sugar. Add the honey, cinnamon, ginger and the flour with the baking powder. Lay a sheet of about 5 millimeters thick and cut it in different forms specific to Christmas: stars, Christmas trees and bells. Put in a pan baking paper and then put the gingerbread. Bake about 15 minutes at medium heat.

Meanwhile, prepare the glaze from two whipped egg whites with 200 grams of powdered sugar and lemon juice. Mix well until the egg whites get a creamy consistency. Spread the glaze with a brush on each figurine or decorate with a cone the pieces of gingerbread. Put them in the turned off oven for another 10-20 minutes until the glaze hardens.

How to serve the gingerbread

Gingerbread is a dessert that goes well with a cup of mulled wine.
