HOW TO DECORATE YOUR HOUSE WITH BOOKS

Books have an important cultural value and should be found in every home, on the shelves of a bookcase. It is interesting that they can be integrated into the decor of your home also in other ways than the classics.

We prepared a few unconventional ideas of decor with books, for a surprising house, original and representative of your love towards reading.

COFFEE TABLE ON BOOKS

Improvise extremely easy a coffee table, using a framed piece of glass, which to place over two stacks of books that play the role of table legs. You can add or remove books to change the height of the table. Add some accent items such as a vase of flowers or a support with candles, for a nicer look.

ARTISTIC ARRANGEMENT FOR WALLS

Let’s say have a white, simple and empty wall in the office area. Why don’t you decorate it using several books with monochromatic cover (you can even wrap them with cover), attached to the wall in a surprising form, using a glue? You instantly get art!

ARRANGEMENT OF BOOKS AS A SUPPORT TABLE

A stack consisting of your largest books, colorful and with hard cover, can be used anytime as a support table, which to place it between two chairs, for example. Decorate your improvised table with a beautiful floral arrangement and you get a romantic and original decor!

POTS FOR SUCCULENT PLANTS

The succulent plants are not pretentious when it comes to the container in which they grow. So your very old books that have not touched since high school, can be transformed into original pots for succulent plants. All you have to do is to make a hole in the middle, to introduce a plastic pot or transparent foil into the hole, then add soil and plant your favorite succulent plants.

CREATIVE HEADBOARD

If you really love books, then a creative headboard made of several books attached to a plywood could definitely be to your liking. Use double-sided tape to keep the pages open.
