How to decorate your house in shades of blue

Ciel bleu, electric blue, cobalt, petrol blue, navy blue or turquoise are just some of the shades of blue that you’ll love inside your home. Colors are extremely versatile, so they are easy to match with anything.

Bleu

Shades of blue give the space a soothing atmosphere, this is why are probably so suitable for a living room in which to relax after hours of heavy work. Choose light-blue for walls and bright white for ceiling and you will have calm and good mood.

Choose a metallic blue for kitchen that will resonate perfectly with modern tools, but also with natural wood chairs.

BLEU

Shiny blue

If until now you have not imagined your bedroom in this strong shade, perhaps even glacial, you could take into account the above version. It resembles so well with seawater, and the light creates shadows like waves, so you will live every day and every night in a romantic, sensual atmosphere.

SHINY BLUE

Intense blue

A wall painted in intense shades of blue will bring depth to the space and will also have a visual separator role. Because the color is strong enough, use for the rest of the interior components in light shades like blue and white, so as to counterbalance the heavy look. A statement painting on this dark wall will act as a focal point in the room.

Also with intense blue you can paint the walls of a bedroom, provided it is well lit, specifically to have large windows through which to enter the natural light. A few red accents will break the monotony and will create a strong emotion.

SHINY BLUE

Gray blue

When you have a living room with a dark floor, almost black, it’s good to balance a little the aspect of the room, with a gray-blue shade for the walls. The leather furniture in natural shades, slightly golden, and the wood furniture create a bright effect, giving warmth to the room.
