The walls of a room are like the canvas of a painting. They are the ideal support to highlight your artistic vision. There are plenty of ways to dress them, but the solutions are not always cheap and easy to put into practice. But here are a few ideas for extremely cheap decor:
PAINTINGS AND FRAMES
You can frame anything: from photos, pages from old magazines or children’s drawings. Anything that can make you smile is good enough to put on the wall.
Any canvas with an oversized print can become a great painting. You only need a wooden support on which to attach the canvas and a few nails to fix it on the wall.
FLORAL THEME
If you have a talent at drawing, then don’t hang anything on the walls, just take a brush and paint. You have where to manifest your artistic talent. Most easily to make are floral patterns or geometric shapes. You can use different colors – the combination of black and gray or green and blue are a good choice – or a single color. It could be a vibrant color, that gives charm and brilliance to the room.
LIGHTS
Interior designers give a great importance to lighting in decorating the house and now you can do it yourself with what you have at hand. Whether with Christmas tree lights or cubic spots, they are a very inexpensive way to get an elegant and dreamlike atmosphere.
PAPER DECORATIONS
If you intend to decorate your home without spending any money, there is a solution: paper decorations. Therefore, you need paper, preferably thicker, from which to cut out various shapes. It could be flowers, butterflies. It remains then to your imagination how you put them on the wall.
STICKERS
On the market there are now plenty of models of wall stickers. You can find them in what size and what model you want, and they are not expensive. In addition, such a drawing is easy to apply and as easy to take off when you are bored.
BASKETS AND BOWLS
Another handy solution is to use what you have around the house to make a unique and very colorful exhibition. Specifically, gather baskets and bowls of various sizes, place them on the wall and you get a unique decor.
