HOW TO DECORATE SMALL ROOMS

Although at first glance, decorating a small apartment may seem nearly impossible, some inspired suggestions can really help you. And the results can be surprising! Here are some easy tips to put into practice for decorating small rooms!

DECORATE SMALL ROOMS

OPT FOR BRIGHT COLORS

If you intend to renovate your home in the near future, you should opt for bright colors. You can paint the rooms in warm shades, pastel, such as lavender or pale yellow, because these colors will give the impression of more space. In addition, you can match the furniture with the paint color chosen. Thus, the rooms of your house will look more airy and will be ready to welcome your guests.

CHOOSE CAREFULLY THE STORAGE PLACES

When you are dealing with a small space, you must carefully choose the places where to deposit your things. As a classic wardrobe could reduce even more a small room, it may not be a very inspired option. But you can opt for wall mounted shelves. These are very practical and will not reduce the room space.

REORGANIZE YOUR SPACE

Reorganization of the space you have is another suggestion worthy of consideration. If you have a small room that you want to turn it into an area dedicated to the study, here are the steps: mount a folding bed on wall and complete the design of your room with a desk and shelves in which to sit the study materials. Thus, you will be able to rest in peace after several hours of demanding documentation. In addition, the bed can be folded easily, so you don’t have to worry about the reduced surface.

OPT FOR SLIDING DOORS

Here is another ingenious option that you can use to decorate some small rooms. Separating sliding doors can help to divide a room into two separate zones, used in different purpose. For example, you can separate the current kitchen into a space dedicated to cooking and one to serve as a dining room.
