What adventurous man hasn’t dreamed of a safari or hasn’t imagined what it would be like to live in the desert or savannah, away from the unleashed world? A private property in Limpopo Province, South Africa, seems ideal for fulfilling these dreams.
The villa we are talking about is actually a guest house which is rented to those who want to experience the African adventure. Why? Because it is built right in the wilderness, namely, all around it, as the eye can see, about five thousand hectares of land are private property for those who rented the building.
And if you imagine that in the heart of the savannah you sleep in a tent or possibly in a hammock or on a bunk, behold that luxury can go well with these less friendly lands. The lavish rooms of the villa will simply take your breath away. And do not think of royal luxury, but a perfect combination of comfort, latest furniture, all put in the light of the specific architecture of these places.
The four-poster beds, with thin curtains, the fireplace, the huge windows, always open to the terrace letting you hear the noise of the savannah, can create the impression that you are in the middle of the jungle.
The semicircular shape of the rooms, and the natural materials, often unfinished, are destined to create the fantastic impression of life in the wilderness, with the necessary luxury a tourist needs.
The open terrace communicates with the living room and also directly with the savannah. To easier introduce the guests in the wild atmosphere of the area, the decor is also unique: huge animal bones or leather rugs.
Wood, stone and straws are the main materials used for construction and decoration.
The villa has a research tower, with fully automated observatory that gives guests the opportunity to see closely the moonlight.
From the outside, the villa draws the guests attention also thanks to the chimneys which “rise” from the building.
