Ingredients:
– 520g flour
– 1 sachet baking powder
– 2/3 teaspoon salt
– 340g unsalted butter
– 200g white sugar
– 400g brown sugar
– 2 tablespoons freshly grated orange zest
– 1 teaspoon vanilla
– 4 eggs
– 200g chocolate chips
– 200g pecans, chopped
Directions:
Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Coat a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a capacious bowl mix flour with baking powder and salt.
In another bowl, for mixer, add butter, sugar, orange peel and vanilla and mix them well until you get a fluffy composition. Add the eggs gradually and mix well to incorporate. Add the flour mixture, and after you get a homogeneous composition incorporate carefully the chocolate chips and pecans cut into pieces.
With a teaspoon put the cookies in the tray at a distance of about 2 inch apart. Bake the cookies for 15 minutes or until they become golden. Leave them to cool before serving.
Serve the cookies with a glass of mulled wine or a cup of milk.
