Glazed apple rings are a perfect dessert for families with children. Crunchy on the outside, soft and slightly sour in interior fit perfectly with a sweet glaze with caramel taste. Here’s how simple it can be prepared. You will definitely want to prepare them indefinitely.
INGREDIENTS
– 6 large apples, without peel and core
– 7 oz flour
– 1 egg white
– 1 cup water
– 1 vial vanilla essence
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– oil for frying
– cinnamon
– powdered sugar
For glaze
– 4 tablespoons melted butter
– 4.5 oz sugar
– 1 teaspoon cinnamon
– 2 tablespoons milk
– 3.5 oz powdered sugar
DIRECTIONS
Beat the egg white with salt until you get a hard foam. Add vanilla essence, water and incorporate the flour.
Peel the apples and cut them into slices half a centimeter thick and then take out their core.
In a deep pan heat up the oil and preheat at 390 degrees F.
Roll the apple slices in the composition of flour and egg and fry them in hot oil on both sides until they are golden. Then take them on a plate coated with kitchen towels to absorb the excess fat.
After cool, powder them with cinnamon and powdered sugar.
Then put the apple rings on a rack, over a tray lined with baking paper. Bake them for 5-10 minutes until they are crisp.
Meanwhile, prepare the glaze. Put the melted butter in an inadherent pot. Add sugar and mix well. Incorporate all the ingredients and then put out the fire.
Pass the apple rings through the glaze obtained.
