DIY: DECORATIVE PAPER FLOWERS

A bouquet of fresh flowers totally changes the look of a room, but also a vase with artificial flowers, if they are well made, can look sensational. Here are some types of flowers that you can make at home:

ALMOST REAL ROSES

What you need: white crepe paper, a heat-resistant bowl, a brush, acrylic paints in various shades of red and yellow, glue for paper, a spray bottle and a microwave.

What you have to do: first cut the petals with the paper striations on vertical, for a more realistic look. Put the bowl upside down and wet it with water using the sprayer.

Put the bowl into the microwave for two, maximum three minutes to dry the petals.

To obtain a bigger flower, first you must roll a few of the petals and place them side by side sticking them with glue to the base. Then put one by one the petals until you get the desired rose.

What you have to do: cut the paper into square pieces, fold the paper two times each, so that you get a triangle. Round with scissors the base of the triangle.

For the first row of petals, remove with scissors a triangle (a petal), for the second, two triangles, and for the third, three.

On a wire bent in two, on which it’s good that you have passed a bead at halfway, insert the petals by coiling them.

Then bend the petals so that you get a very delicate rose.
