A fluffy and flavored desert, the cake with yogurt and fruits will remain on the lips of all who will try it long afterward. If you want to know the secrets of this recipe, read below what are the ingredients you need and how you can prepare it.
INGREDIENTS
– 6 oz flour
– 5.3 oz butter
– 3-4 tablespoons sugar
– 3 eggs
– 1.7 oz raisins
– 1.7 oz cranberries
– zest of one lemon or orange
– 6 tablespoons simple yogurt
– 3 tablespoons orange flavored liqueur
– vanilla essence
– baking powder
– a pinch of salt
– other candied fruits (optional)
DIRECTIONS
First, put in a bowl the raisins, cranberries, citrus zest and liqueur. Let the flavors to interconnect overnight in the refrigerator.
Mix the flour, baking powder and salt. Afterward, form a fluffy cream of butter and sugar, then add the eggs one at a time. Mix everything well, and finally put in composition also the vanilla essence.
Incorporate in the above mixture the flour and yogurt, but gradually, so that no lumps form. Then add candied fruits left overnight in the refrigerator.
Prepare a pan with oil and a little flour or baking paper, depending on what you have at hand. Pour mixture into pan and insert it in preheated oven at 320 degrees F. You should not keep it more than 20-25 minutes. Finally, do the toothpick test to see if the cake is baked inside.
Remove the pan from the oven and let the cake with candied fruits and yogurt to cool for 15 minutes, then, if you like, spread a little orange liqueur on its surface. Slice and serve immediately with your loved ones.
