How to decorate your house in a minimalist style

The minimalist style of decorating a house is in trend, but even if it seems easy to realize such a setting, it is actually complicated. Here are some tips to follow when you want to have a clean house, ventilated and free from a lot of unnecessary accessories:

Choose the industrial style

Scandinavian style is becoming increasingly appreciated on mioritical lands. It has as a defining element the industrial look: a lot of white, simple lines, no complicated elements. Such a room invites you to a perfect cleanliness, because the slightest stain or any lint are clearly visible.

CHOOSE THE INDUSTRIAL STYLE

Choose symmetries

Another interesting way to get an aerodynamic aspect is to redecorate the house with symmetric elements. Put two paintings above the bed, no matter how simplistic they are, or place two tables in the left and the right of the couch. These will give the impression of a perfect organization.

Choose symmetries

Place a single bold element

While we used to have the houses full of all kinds of things, the secret of a home decorated in minimalist style involves placing a single bold item, designed to attract all eyes. It could be a large plant located in a corner of the bathroom or a metallic lamp in the living room, these accents enliven the room and print something from your personality.

Place a single bold element

Leave the walls empty

Perhaps you find it hard to imagine a blank wall from top to bottom, without any element to cover it at least partially. But you have to admit that this way you can not go wrong mixing styles or adding mismatched parts, and the room looks very clean and restful.

Leave the walls empty

Choose neutral colors

The minimalist style involves neutral colors, less spectacular, but which gives spaciousness to the place. Black and white prints or a modern glass chandelier are elements that give a room a pretty cool look, but also very airy.

Choose neutral colors
