Do you want to greet your guests with a delicious and easy to prepare dessert? Try a simple recipe for chocolate truffles, decorated in Christmas colors.
Ingredients:
– 400g chocolate
– 200ml liquid cream
– 60g butter
– zest of one orange
– a rum essence
– a pinch of salt
for decoration:
– cocoa
– raspberry powder
– pistachio
– coconut flakes
Directions:
In a saucepan add the butter, liquid cream and salt and put them on the fire. When the butter has melted, break the chocolate into tiny pieces and put them in a bowl. Pour the hot mixture of cream and butter, over the chocolate. Mix well until it melts. Add the orange zest and the rum essence. Cover the bowl with cling film and leave it to cool for about two hours.
Meanwhile, on different plates add powdered raspberry, coconut, cocoa and chopped pistachios.
Form balls of equal sizes from the composition previously created and pass them through the four glazes, so that you get roughly equal numbers of truffles with each glaze.
Place each truffle in a paper for candy, and lay them on a tray. Store them in the refrigerator until serving.
