Chicken with lemon and ginger is a flavorful recipe, but very easy. It can be prepared in a few minutes and can be served with a side dish of rice.
INGREDIENTS
– 1 lemon
– 1 teaspoon grated ginger
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 8 chicken thighs
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– green onions, chopped
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 0.7 oz butter
DIRECTIONS
Zest the lemon and then squeeze it. In a bowl, add the lemon zest, grated ginger, salt and butter.
In another bowl mix lemon juice, soy sauce and honey. Finally add two to three tablespoons of water. Continue to mix until you get a smooth sauce.
Under the skin of the chicken add a little of the composition of butter with ginger and lemon zest. Rub good the thighs, so the flavors to distribute evenly.
In a roomy pan add the olive oil and fry the chicken, placing it with the skin side down. Let it fry until it becomes golden brown. Turn it over and then pour the sauce over it.
Let the chicken simmer on low heat for 15-18 minutes, or until it is well penetrated.
Serve the chicken with lemon and ginger with a simple side dish of rice and / or season salad. You can serve it with a glass of white wine.
