BIONIC DESIGN: DECORS INSPIRED FROM SF MOVIES

The so-called bionic design style is perfect for homes which have interesting shapes and spaces that can be valorized through a decor that seems taken from science fiction movies. If you want a house with futuristic air, get inspired from the original arrangements below!

Traditionally, bionics refers to the use of biology to create the latest technological breakthroughs. In terms of interior design, the bionic style means using natural forms in architecture and arranging the house.

FEATURES OF BIONIC DESIGN

It is surely one of the most progressive design styles, but also one that is very close to nature. The bionic design style tries to imitate the shapes found in the environment, characterized by fine lines and massive forms that dominate the entire room / house.

Also, bionic style is airy and bright, including pale tints, shiny surfaces, repetitive patterns with minimalist texture. Spotlights are used to accentuate visually the futuristic space.

BIONIC DESIGN

Even if the forms are repetitive, they have personalized details that reflect the personality of the owners.

BIONIC DESIGN

It is interesting that bionic style can be integrated even in a classical decor, as a form of personalization of space. It can be found in design with circular shapes of the furniture (sofas) or lamps.

BIONIC DESIGN

Of course bionic style can be led to the extreme, by shiny furniture in irregular shapes, separating pillars in fluid forms and decorative objects reminiscent of human body cells.

BIONIC DESIGN

A loft with unusual format can be easily transformed into a space decorated in bionic style, by equipping it with circular furniture and unusual windows.

BIONIC DESIGN

In the bionic style, functionality is closely related to the form. The initiators of this style began by using minimal resources, for getting major practical benefits and exquisite aesthetic results.

BIONIC DESIGN

Although, currently, few eccentrics chose the bionic design style for their home, this type of decoration will catch more and more popularity in the future.
