Bachelor apartment decorated in an impressive manner

Bachelor apartments are also called “bachelor pads” and today, are among the most numerous apartments existing on the real estate market.

The apartment that we present to you today is in a central district of Istanbul, even if it’s in an old and almost damaged building. Even if it’s said it would be a “simple” bachelor apartment, it is more like a penthouse. The apartment was decorated by people from OFIST, a studio of architecture and interior design.

The first thing that had to be done was checking the building. Since there have been serious changes in the structure, it was essential to know the condition of the old building. As you can see, the interior contrasts sharply with the exterior. In fact, from the outside, no one would say that inside that building could be a so beautiful home.

What I like most about this bachelor apartment is that all things seem to be in an involuntary harmony. From the lights that seem to levitate to the kitchen arrangements. It is clear that, once, this apartment was a storage space; and yet, with hard work and a little investment, a dull space like an old storage room has been converted into an apartment that is worth to appear in interior design magazines.
