Desserts should not be high in calories and unhealthy ingredients. You can prepare an apple pie from 100% healthy ingredients, within 5 minutes. It is ideal for hot summer months, as it requires no baking. Here’s how easy it is to prepare.
INGREDIENTS
– 2 apples (diced)
– 3/4 cup raw walnuts
– 3/4 cup dates
– 1/2 cup coconut flakes
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 cup fresh blackberries (can be replaced with dried currants if you can not find fresh)
– vanilla (to taste)
– cinnamon (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Add the walnuts in food processor and mix them until you get a fine flour. Add the dates and continue to mix until they are well chopped. Add the remaining ingredients and mix everything for 30 seconds.
Pour the content into a cake pan with removable bottom, press with the hand, so the pie doesn’t have air bubbles and to be firm.
Wrap it in cling film and leave in the freezer for at least 5 hours before serving.
Serve the apple pie with a glass of lemonade with cranberries.
