The walls can come to life when you know how to decorate them. But do not limit yourself to paintings, and let your imagination to work. Anything can be hanged on the walls. Here are some examples.
INSTRUMENTS
Why not let everyone know your passion for music? Make it known by hanging on your walls the musical instruments you play. You will enjoy to admire them and, in addition, they will be handy when you want to improvise a little show in the presence of friends.
HATS
The collection of hats, old or new, can be transformed into a giant painting to decorate the stairwell. Choose hats from straw and you will give a rustic air, of American farm, to the entire house.
MIRRORS
A gallery of mirrors will add extra charm to a room decorated in vintage style. Choose old mirrors and put them as less symmetrical on the wall. They will reflect much of the room and will make it look larger and the decor more playful.
CHAIRS
Well, maybe you have not imagined such a setting until now, but you have to admit it looks pretty interesting and it is an idea to consider. Especially that combines useful with pleasure. Climbed on the wall, the folding seats are a unique decor, but you can take them down when you need more chairs for visitors.
PLATES
Perhaps you remember the rooms of the old house of grandparents. You can use the idea, but adjust it to the contemporary era. Choose a single color plates.
A LADDER
A double ladder can be transformed into a unique and highly decorative library, if you fix it where normally shouldn’t be there, namely on the wall.
CARPETS
You don’t have to live in an old house or one with medieval air to hang on walls carpets woven on looms. Even in a contemporary house they will complete a room and will load it with warmth, making it very familiar.
BALLS OF WOOL
Probably one of the funniest ideas is to stick on the wall colored wool balls. They will give the room a cheerful air.
