7 useful tips to organize your closet

The autumn came and with the lower temperatures you need to change the summer wardrobe with the one for winter. It’s the perfect time to organize your closet more efficient. Here are some trivial tricks, but very effective:

A hanger for the accessories

The scarves, ties and belts are always spread here and there. However, you can make a support like the one in the picture, which keeps them all together and as orderly as possible. With a piece of wood, a saw and a hook hanger, you can obtain a very useful support.

A HANGER FOR THE ACCESSORIES

Transparent boxes

You will realize the usefulness of transparent boxes only when you fill them with different things. For example, shoes. You will not have to open one, two, three or more boxes until you get the pair of shoes you want, because you will see at a glance.

Perforated panel

Mount on the closet’s door a perforated panel like the one used for organizing tools, except you will organize your trinkets, bags and scarves. You only need some “S” shaped hooks and everything will be in place and easy to find.

Sort by color

A useful alternative is to arrange your clothes in the closet by color. You choose the order, but it will be much easier to fit your outfits, and also to identify your favorite blouses if they are placed grouped. You will not have to search in the whole wardrobe, hanger by hanger.

Frames for the accessories

Don’t throw away the old frames. They can become some tridimensional pictures if you use them as a support for beads, earrings and other trinkets.

More hanging supports

Is it true that the hanger support never seems big enough? If you’re lucky to have a dressing room, it would be a shame not to install more metal bars, where you can put hangers.

Included ironing board

And to have everything accessible, build on one of the sides of the dressing room a support for the ironing board, so you can quickly use it whenever you need.
