You have a limited budget and you think seven times before you buy a new piece of furniture when you decorate your kitchen? Designers have their own tricks in terms of saving both money and space. Here is what they teach us:
Shelves
Interior designers are aware that the furniture bought “ready-made” is not always the best solution for any space. And they even suggest that the best solution is to go to a professional carpenter to build the furniture depending on the available size. So it is that any closet or pantry can be charged with simple shelves to make a consistent economy of space.
Alternative materials
No money for a slab of marble for the kitchen countertop? A “friendly” alternative is the laminated plywood. It is warmer, cheaper, but needs additional periodic maintenance.
Focal points
The sink battery can be a real focal point in a kitchen. Unless you choose a very simple one. But experts recommend that for the sink batteries you shouldn’t sacrifice quality, because they are one of the most used parts, so much more likely to break. However, on the market there are also systems modest in price, but very interesting in appearance, you only need to have patience to search.
Embedded electronics
The interior designers also believe that the electronics integrated in the kitchen furniture are the ideal solution for a compact and very elegant look.
Cupboard instead of pantry
If you do not have a real pantry, but your kitchen is spacious enough, then a tall, solid cabinet, can work perfectly as a closet in which to store the jars with jam and pickles, and the large cooking pots.
Other colors
There is no need to change the furniture to completely transform a kitchen. It is enough to use colored paint or just foil stickers that animate inside the cabinets and you have realized a furniture with a totally new and unique aspect.
