7 INVENTIVE WAYS TO REUSE AN OLD PIANO

An out of tune piano is definitely not good for playing, but it can turn into an absolutely gorgeous piece of decor. Here are some original ideas:

LIBRARY

A piano seated on its legs it’s normal, it’s not surprising, but one mounted on a wall, will arouse the admiration of everybody. It can be turned into a special library where you can put the most beloved books. Keep its keyboards to recall as much of the original role.

BAR

And what it was at one time the musical instrument that animated the evenings with friends can now support the same gathering. This time, turned into a bar with everything. Some mirrors and a cup holder will help it become a focal point of the room.

SHELF

Separate the piano keyboard from the tail and transform it in a shelf. You need 3-4 solid consoles with which to mount it to the wall. A plant, a few photo frames and a stack of books will find their place on this support.

AQUARIUM

Yes, aquarium. It’s not a simple project and to put it into practice by yourself, but nevertheless a piano turned into aquarium will become the centerpiece of any living room. It gives life and color to the room.

A grand piano is an interesting piece if you place it on the wall. You can use as a support even its original foot. A few shelves to divide it efficiently, will become support for your loved objects. Make it even more charming by adding a transparent glass door.

HEADBOARD

Even if for this project you don’t use the entire piano, select the piece decorated with applications or with wood inserts and transform it into a chic headboard designed to give the bedroom a very classic, very elegant air.

SUPPORT FOR TOOLS

If you took the piano out of the house because it was no longer useful, keep it in a warehouse or in a garage. You can very well transform it into a unique support for tools. You need a perforated panel, and a light and you will have the most solid workbench.
