You can turn all the ordinary things that surround you in real wonders. With a little imagination even used items can become extremely interesting decor pieces. Here’s what you can use to make interesting lampshades for the light bulbs in your home:
PLASTIC SPOONS
You need tens of disposable plastic spoons and to break their tails. Then, with a good glue, stick them like the scales of a fish on a plastic bottle without its top part. You will have an impressive lampshade.
WOODEN HANGERS
Who would have imagined that some wooden hangers can turn into an original object of decoration. It depends on how you sit them. In spiral, for example, they will allow light to enter, spreading around in a downright magical effect.
JELLY TEDDY BEARS
It is true that you would rather eat them, but think about how many calories you can accumulate. So you better find them another use. Pass a needle with thread through each jelly bear and hang them as unequal as possible. The multitude of colors will shine in the bright light.
DRUMS
Your old drums don’t sound right anymore? Rather than throwing them away, they would look better hanged on ceiling, like the house would be turned upside down.
HATS
Old grandfather’s hats are outmoded and you would want to get rid of them, to not occupy place in your wardrobe. But you can find them a place where they do not interfere at all, on the contrary, to fade a bit of the power of halogen bulbs.
DOILIES
Rummage through the old boxes in which you stored the doilies that your grandma used to put them on the living room table. When you’ve found them, inflate a balloon and stick them with glue all around it. Let it dry, then prick the balloon to break. You will have an extremely delicate lacy lampshade.
PET BOTTLES
Cut the bottoms of empty plastic bottles, then with a thicker cotton thread catch them together like in the picture above. In direct light, the lampshade made by you will seem a cascade of ice flowers.
