7 AMAZING TRANSFORMATIONS OF OLD FURNITURE

Redecorating rooms does not always have to wear the sign of exquisite elegance. There are areas of the house where you can try a casual style or, why not, with industrial accents. Here’s how to remodel the space in your home using an unconventional furniture.

1. INDUSTRIAL-STYLE DESK

Dose your energy in the space arranged for your home office using industrial decorative elements. Search through old garages or carpentry workshops some metallic trestles to make a support for a desk. Add the upper body of the office. You can choose to equip it with drawers or you can opt for a simple wooden countertop, placed over the two trestles. Repaint in colors that denote energy.

2. DESK FOR SMALL SPACES

If the house doesn’t offer you generous spaces to arrange a home office, you can opt for other alternatives. Cut at half an old table and turn it into a console glued on the wall of the room.

3. SLEIGH WITH ‘BELLS’

An old wooden sleigh can become an excellent support for dishes in the kitchen. Hang the sleigh on a suspended body in your kitchen or even on wall and equip it with hooks for hanging dishes and kitchen utensils.

5. COFFEE TABLE WITH TRAY

From an old stool and an oversized tray you can get an elegant coffee table. Put the tray on the stool support and stick them with glue.

6. SIDEBOARD MADE OF BOOKCASE SHELVES

When it comes to the kitchen sideboard, you don’t have to think at a massive furniture that occupies much space in the room. Use bookcase shelves in horizontal position to make a sideboard easy to install in your kitchen.

7. FUNNY SOFA

Get rid of the old dull and without charm headboard of the sofa! With a jig saw cut its edge in an interesting form and repaint it. With a little imagination, you can change its whole look in just a few hours!
