5 VINTAGE ACCESSORIES FOR YOUR WALLS

If you already decorated the rooms in vintage style, carefully selecting antique furniture found in flea markets, you can complete the image of rooms with other interesting accessories. Here’s how you can decorate the walls of the rooms:

1. OLD PORCELAIN

A set of beautifully decorated porcelain plates can decorate not only the table, but especially one wall of your bedroom. Put the porcelain plates symmetrically above the makeup table to create a great decor in your bedroom.

2. DECORATIVE MAP

Search through the attic the maps you had for geography in school years. Certainly their aged appearance will give an interesting note to an empty wall of an accustomed space. Such as the kitchen wall.

3. FALSE WINDOWS

Old windows frames can come to life in an interesting way on your living room walls. Put the old frames as false windows on walls to emphasize the vintage style imposed to your room. Other accessories in the same style, wrought iron grilles and walls of a dressing screen, will fill the slightly aged air of your living room. You can apply reflective spray on windows panes to turn them into mirrors.

4. TROPHIES CORNER

The walls of your children rooms may get a different image if you apply these various sports clubs pennants collected by you in childhood and youth. A picture with vintage sports magazine covers and photo collages can also do wonders. Not only you have interestingly decorated a corner of your child’s room, but you have every chance to urge him easier to sport.

5. DECORATIVE FRAMES

Flea markets are full of paintings of doubtful taste. Even if the painting is a failure of art, the frame can be a jewel once you removed the canvas. Choose frames that seem interesting and decorate your living room walls in an elegant way. If needed you can add some mirrors on some of these. For others, some fresh paint will be enough to get new life.
