5 unusual hotels. Would you stay there?

The nice memories of a holiday are not just about landscapes and places you’ve visited, but even in places where you stayed. It is no wonder that some travel agencies have marketed various unique accommodations. This is what 2014 has brought in terms of new hotel deals !

1. Accommodation in a plane

The Dutch from KLM and the Airbnb agency have an offer for the lucky winners of a raffle. For two nights, between 28 and 30 November, the lottery winners will be accommodated in a plane of the company on Schiphol airport. They have at their disposal two bedrooms, a living room, eight bathrooms and a panoramic view from the cockpit. The aerial operator does not exclude to transform in the future some old planes into accommodations for tourists with extravagant tastes.

2. A night in a carriage

An entire buffet car of a train has been restored and “pulled over” in Agoura Hills area, near Los Angeles. Owners use the charm of the countryside and the extraordinary panorama of mountains of Santa Monica to accommodate tourists for fee of 245 USD / night.

3. An island just for you

For $ 500 per night you can experience the life of a modern Robinson Crusoe on Nanuku Levu island in Fuji. The five hectares of land lost in the ocean border Laucala Island Resort luxury resort, located 15 nautical miles. Accommodation is in traditional houses located on the beach, and a local guide you is provided to you to initiate you in the archaic techniques of fishing, diving and kayaking.

4. The hotel bar

Although closed for the old regulars, Old Conroy’s Bar in Tipperary, Ireland, still receives visitors. Drinks are on the house as long as you pay $ 130 / day, and if you get bored in your bar you can always visit the pubs nearby.

5. Shell villa

The unique construction on Isla Mujeres in Mexico belongs to the architect Eduardo Ocampo, who rents villa in shell form with $ 225 / night. The shape of a shell is not visible only on the outside of the magnificent building, but also in interior, where every room is “sculpted” as the inside of a seashell.
