5 amazing uses of a library

Did you think that the shelves are good only to keep your favorite books in sight? It’s not just that. Here are some ingenious ideas that will help you give a different utility to a library.

False wall

When it comes to small spaces, the multifunctional pieces are essential. Therefore, you can turn a library into a partition wall to separate, for example, the bedroom from the work area. The shelves will create a semi opaque visual barrier and will be extremely useful near the office so that you can put on it all items that you need within reach. Use for this false wall a library in the same shade of the walls of the room to give the illusion of a natural extension of the wall.

Relaxation corner

Get the bar that you’ve always wanted by transforming a library. Do not remove all the books, on the contrary, keep some of the loved volumes, but “mix” them with your favorite beverage bottles. Keep on hand also a tray with glasses. Place a chair or a small comfortable sofa and in this way you get a perfect place to relax.

Garden-library

A piece of furniture in vintage style gives a unique look to any home. Bring a little of the charm of nature indoors with a few clay pots or vases to put them in the library, among books. In this way you realize a full of life focal point in your home.

Wardrobe

In lack of space, a closet with doors can be just not inspired. It is opaque, dull and as it occupies much of the visual field, it does nothing but to ruin the environment. For the bedroom, use the shelves of a library to place on them elegant boxes or piles of clothes neatly arranged. Thus, you turn the library into a funny piece of decor leaving at sight the most beautiful clothes that you have. Just remember to keep a perfect order for everything to look good.

Improvised office

When the bedroom is also the workspace is really hard to achieve a separation of the two. Here is a clever idea with which you can hide the office behind some doors mounted on the edges of the library.
