Since when you have not had a vacation from which to return really happy? Do not blame the transport, services or lost luggage at the airport, most likely your chosen destination was not the most inspired. However, here are a few places in the world where happiness seems to be at home!
1. Juzcar, smurf village
The village located 20 kilometers from the town of Ronda in southern Spain has adopted four years ago the blue color for each house in order to promote the movie “The Smurfs”. Until then being in obscurity, this brainwave transformed Juzcar into a rustic paradise for tourists. You can serve a portion of rural life in Spain spiced with Malaga wine and traditional recipes. At 20 kilometers, Ronda, the city suspended on the rocks, is waiting for you to visit it leisurely, tourist attractions being represented by the corrida arena, Arab baths and Moor King Palace.
2. Andorra
Caught between the borders of France and Spain, on the eastern slopes of the Pyrenees, the residents of Andorra are proud of the fact that they are the most pacifist Europeans. Andorra has not been involved in an armed conflict since 700 years ago, even if during the World War I declared war on Germany “from a distance”. The principality has 80,000 inhabitants, but it is annually visited by more than 10 million tourists. Life expectancy of Andorrans is estimated at 82 years.
3. Vietnam
For over a decade, Vietnam has wiped out all the stories of war and turned into a paradise for hikers. It is pleasing that in Vietnam you can have adventures in the jungle, climbing routes in the mountains, ocean beach days and the atmosphere of the colonial era preserved in several cities. All at a quite low price.
4. Bhutan
The Asian kingdom is a country of peace. Life in Bhutan unfolds at a pace so quiet that there are no traffic lights across the country. Over time, Bhutan has built an image of a tourist destination appreciated for the magic of nature spread by the Buddhist temples in the kingdom and for the beauty of nature at the foot of the Himalayas.
