4 DECORATING IDEAS FOR GUESTS ROOM

If you have many friends or … relatives, you have to consider that sometimes you’ll be forced to host them for a night or two. Therefore, it is good to have a room ready for any eventuality. Here are some solutions for making the guest rooms comfortable.

1. MINIMALIST VERSION

When space does not allow you to offer your guests a spacious room, make sure that they will have an intimate corner arranged for them. A platform bed, a lamp, a few shelves and a TV at their disposal, placed in a restricted room will provide minimal comfort for your visitor. Use earthy shades for furniture to create a more relaxed atmosphere for guests. You can arrange such a room in a dressing or any other space that you rarely use.

2. GUEST ROOM, IN THE ATTIC

If you have an unused attic, you can turn such a space into a guest room. Furnish the attic room with a sofa instead of a bed for two. Thus you’ll be able to give it also another utility, after your guests will leave. An armchair and a coffee table are welcomed in the background.

3. INCREASED COMFORT

If your home office is more spacious, you can accommodate your occasional guests in this space. They have at their disposal including a computer, which raises their comfort level. You will have to give up the sober colors and give the room a more inviting aspect. Shades of yellow and orange create a warmer atmosphere in the room.

4. HOLIDAY STYLE

The living room can be an excellent area for hosting guests if you give up the massive furniture that uploads your room. A wooden platform raised on the floor of the room, on which to sit a mattress, will give visitors the impression of being in an exotic vacation. After they leave, the mattress and the platform can be removed and the room returns to the original destination.
